Via crucis (the way of the cross) comprises three parts: the vision, the Christ death and the resurrection. This play is filled with different works depicting the three scenic parts softened by some orchestral pieces.
The main characteristic of L'arpeggiata is that it interprets music combining historical performance with jazz and folk. The result is a very pleasant music. Im aware that this kind of interpretation isnt so attached to its supposed original, but music is alive and Im happy that people try other ways.
Enjoy!
