Harpsichord Concertos I, II and III - Bach (Cologne Chamber Orchestra)

Virtuosos, lively, armonious, enchanting, etc. etc., are some of a big positive characteristics that applies to Bach's harpsichord concertos. Concertos that reveal a new face of Bach's astonishing imagination.

Fair and passionate playing of the soloist and of the full accompaniment make of this recording one of the best I've heard, whose well appreciation of the tempo allows them to a better exploit of the music.

Enjoy :)

Most of the concertos were first conceive for oboe and violin. Although you'll recognize plenty of them,  give a try to this recording.

  1. Thanks for the post!

I have several complete Bach's harpsichords concertos. For just talking about the historic performances (with original instruments and musicology preoccupations), the Gustav Leonhardt / Nikolaus Harnoncourt are quite good, but maybe I prefer the Ton Koopman energy and inventivity. This ones by the Cologne Chamber Orchestra I still didn't heard, but Robert Hill is an excellent musician, so... let's hear it!

Post Scriptum: May I suggest others servers? This ones are very slow for non premium users. MediaFire, Mega, ZippyShare, Uptobox, ADrive are the fasters. I leave this to your consideration, ok?

  3. onomatopeira. In my next posts I'll add 1Fichier. I've heard very good comments about it. The reason a I dont put so many is because usually people sticks to just one and the files desappear very soon from the other servers. Since I oppened the blog all cds are still available!
