Shades of Red (Concertos and Sonatas for Recorder and Strings)

The genious of Vivaldi and the girls at "La Pietà" in Venice did not spare talent whatsoever in the performances it were offered regularly. Most of the allegros he composed to his concertos are of virtuosic character, combined with cheerfull and very pleasant adagios as we can notice in all the concertos presented in this cd.

I have always been impresed by Vivaldi's music writing, and I have noticed that to have a real impresion of his music, it is needed an straordinary interpretation of it, and by that it is imperative that all musicians, specially the soloists are deeply versed into his music, thence, we can touch Vivaldi's soul fetched by the musician's hands, because the path of music must be leaded by someone, because music is nothing if before is not appraised by the persons in charge to bring it to life, brought to awake our emotions.

Enjoy!
